Impact Investing

Researchers at Croatan Institute are developing new ways to conceptualize social and environmental impact investing not as a single investment "asset class," but rather as an investment approach that can extend across all asset classes in a diversified portfolio. The Institute is also working closely with practitioners in the field to explore impact investment opportunities in underserved communities and to create new frameworks for understanding the nature of social and environmental impact in specific geographies, sectors, and asset classes.
