Croatan Institute Senior Fellows Participate in Convening on Shareholder Engagement
Croatan Institute senior fellows Josh Humphreys and Christi Electris participated in a convening on shareholder engagement which took place at the Harvard Faculty Club in Cambridge, MA on November 17. The event was organized by Croatan Institute and the Initiative for Responsible Investment at the Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations (which hosted). The convening was meant to encourage dialogue on shareholder engagement strategies and how to measure their impact. Participants also discussed the Impact of Equity Engagement, multi-stakeholder initiative designed to evaluate the impact of investor engagement with publicly traded corporations.
Speakers included experts from a wide range of fields including shareholder engagement, impact investing, social enterprise, and corporate governance.
