Humphreys to speak at SRI Conference on public equity engagement
On Sunday, November 9, Joshua Humphreys will present a new reporting framework for shareholder engagement at the 25th annual SRI Conference.
The breakout session, entitled “Understanding the Impact of Engagement,” will take place from 4:15 - 5:05PM Sunday. Humphreys will speak alongside Sonal Mahida of the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment and David Schilling of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility. The panel will be moderated by Mark Regier, the Director of Stewardship Investing for Praxis Mutual Funds and Everence Financial.
Humphreys will present the initial findings of the Impact of Equity Engagement (IE2) initiative and preview the Initiative’s report and draft reporting framework. The report will be released to the public on Wednesday, November 12.
Along with representatives from the investor sponsors of the initiative, Humphreys will also host a Topic Table at lunchtime Monday about IE2.
The 25th annual SRI Conference on Sustainable, Responsible, Impact Investing takes place from November 9–11, 2014 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Attendees include investment professionals, SRI mutual fund companies and money managers, and institutional investors and foundations.
